Seattle Vacay

I am just wrapping up my vacation to Seattle.  So, hello from the Space Needle! :D  Out of all the sites to see, I never get tired of looking at the Space Needle.  It is visible from where I am staying and I have been using it as a guiding post "home" daily - I'm being resourceful so that I do not get completely lost in a new city!

Seattle is known for it's dreary, rainy weather, and I have seen that while visiting, but it also has some beautiful days!  I can't complain with it being 50 degrees outside, whereas in Pennsylvania, it's in the 30's!  Of course you can't go to Seattle without checking out the coffee scene; it is the "coffee capital" after all.  And to live up to that name, there really is a coffee shop on nearly every corner!  Although this is the birthplace of Starbucks, I found the best Vanilla Chai Latte is at Uptown Espresso.  YUM!!

I was also able to visit my favorite Seattle restaurant: La Vitta Bella.  It is home of the incredible Crab Ravioli, but they did not have it on the menu on the evening that we dinned there, so I got the Shrimp Ravioli, which is quite delicious as well.  I couldn't leave without trying their tiramisu, which was also fantastic.  What can I say, I have a sweet tooth! :)
